Here are some of the movies that I wanna catch Guys don't bother reading this post unless you're into chick flicks or you wanna impress your gfs by saying "oh yeah I know what that movie is about" when they say they want to watch it. ;) Or that would prolly sound really gay but w/e
Letters to Juliet
Synopsis: An American girl on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered "letter to Juliet" -- one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover's Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by a the "secretaries of Juliet" -- and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter
Starring: Amanda Seyfried, Christopher Egan, Vanessa Redgrave, Gael Garcia Bernal
Why I want to watch it? They actually went to Verona to film this, who doesn't want to see Italy on the big screen? Christopher Egan is a hottie, with a british accent. Need I say more?
The Last Song
Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Tybee Island, Georgia. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father ...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer on Tybee Island with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms - first love, the love between parents and children - that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts ...and heal them.
Starring: Miley (ew) Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Steve Miller, Bobby Coleman
Why I want to watch it: Hello? Nicholas Sparks wrote it, bawled when i read the book, although I thought they could have chosen a better female lead, Ellen Page would have been such a better choice, she can do the whole angsty teen thing, heck I would have made a better Veronica, lol, I joke. Guess I'll have to endure Miley Cyrus and her unsealable mouth throughout.
Beastly
Synopsis:
A modern-day take on the "Beauty and the Beast" tale where a New York teen is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love.
Starring: Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens, Mary Kate Olsen
Why I want to watch it? I really wanna see how they can make Alex Pettyfer look unattractive.
Twelve
Synopsis:
A young drug dealer watches as his high-rolling life is dismantled in the wake of his cousin's murder, which sees his best friend arrested for the crime.
Starring: Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts
Why I wanna watch it? Chace Crawford, nuff said.
Ondine
Synopsis: The story of an Irish fisherman who discovers a woman in his fishing net who he believes to be a mermaid.
Starring: Colin Farrell, Alicja Bachleda
Why I want to watch it? Mermaid fantasy? count me in. Colin's accent
